What we refer to as the Beachside of the City of Pompano Beach, we are referring to the general that exists from the Intracoastal Waterway east to the Atlantic Ocean. This generally consists of large, modern condo towers located right on the sand or those that are just across Ocean Blvd where most unit owners have oceanfront views. The Beachside is the super luxury neighborhood of the City of Pompano Beach and the prices reflect it. Along with the condominium towers there are many family owned motels and larger hotels owned by the major hotel companies. Also, the Beachside has many smaller townhouses and low-rise condo buildings that are less expensive but are still pricey. Restaurants and shops exist all over the Beachside and virtually everyone living Beachside has a short walk, if any, to the beaches. Beachside also includes the new Pompano Pier and the redeveloped park and commercial area surrounding it.
